According to the leakster, an unnamed foldable smartphone believed to be the Mix Fold 3 will flaunt a white curved glass body with a new water-drop hinge that strengthens the phone’s drop resistance. Moreover, they claim that it will remain to be thin and light just like its predecessor, which is nearly as thin as an iPhone 13 Pro Max in its folded position. What’s more, the device will allegedly feature a four-camera setup with two of those being telephoto cameras. This will be made up of a 3.2x optical zoom lens for portrait shots and another 5x optical zoom periscope lens. The other two sensors are expected to be a 50MP main camera and an ultra-wide lens. Additionally, an earlier report claimed that the Mix Fold 3 will sport an under-display selfie shooter on the main screen, as well as an IP rating for water resistance. Other rumours suggest that the foldable comes with an 8.02-inch OLED display when unfolded along with a 6.5-inch OLED outer screen, both with a 1080p resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. For charging, DCS purports that it will support 67W wired and 50W wireless charging, with the latter missing from the previous model. Apparently, the flagship folding phone will run on the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset from Qualcomm paired with up to 16 GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 1 TB of UFS 4.0 storage. The Mix Fold 3 will likely carry the model number 2308CPXD0C with codenames “Babylon” and L18″. It is predicted to launch sometime in August. Just like its predecessor, it will most likely be a China-exclusive product that won’t reach global markets. (Source: Gizmochina)
