Initially offering 30 GB of high-speed data via 4G and 5G, the RM 38 monthly U Mobile plan now grants an increased cap to 60 GB. In addition, the U Postpaid 38 subscription also provides users with unlimited calls to all networks. Apart from a vague mention of a new initiative, the orange telco says the upgraded features are in response to customer needs and feedback from the last few months. Additionally, U Mobile also revealed that it has unlocked hotspot access for its U Postpaid 38, 68 and 98 plans as part of a limited time promotion known as Ultra Hotspot 5G. With this, subscribers of the aforementioned plans are now able to share their main data quota via their device’s hotspot feature instead of using a separate data quota. In other words, U Postpaid 38, 68 and 98 subscribers can utilise their respective 60 GB, 100 GB and 1000 GB high-speed 4G or 5G data across multiple devices, as well as share it with others who are connected to their hotspot access. As mentioned earlier, U Mobile’s Ultra Hotspot 5G promotion is only running for a limited time for would-be subscribers, or to those planning to upgrade their existing plans to all three postpaid subscriptions. Outside of that, the telco says existing U Postpaid 38, 68 and 98 users will be able to enjoy the unlocked hotspot benefits permanently once it is unlocked for them.
