The Redmi Watch 3 sports a 1.75-inch AMOLED display, almost 15% larger than its predecessor’s display, with a resolution of 390×450 along with a peak brightness of 600 nits. Bringing some features from the Watch 2, the new smartwatch has a waterproof rating of 5ATM, allowing you to wear it while doing laps in the pool.
The mid-tier wearable also has built-in GPS functionality with five major satellite positioning systems, meaning that you won’t need to carry a phone with you to track your workout routes. Additionally, it has 121 sports modes to properly track any type of exercise you can thing of, with six workouts being recognised and tracked automatically. On the health side of things, the Redmi Watch 3 is equipped with sensors to monitor your blood oxygen saturations levels, your heart rate, your sleep patterns, and more. For personalisation, you can choose either lime or blue coloured straps as well as over 200 watch faces available.
You also won’t have to worry too much about charging as the 289mAh battery gives the watch a claimed battery life of up to 12 days with normal usage and seven days under heavy usage. On top of that, it still has other smartwatch capabilities like making calls by connecting to your phone via Bluetooth, with built-in speakers and microphones. Xiaomi says that the Redmi Watch 3 retails for RM429 and is already available at its retail stores as well as online stores on Lazada and Shopee. Those who purchase the watch from now until 30 April can get it at a discounted price of RM399 along with an additional silicon strap.
