Specifically, the on-shelf launch date for the non-Ti RTX 4070 is set simply for the month of April. When exactly in the month, though, is yet to be determined, as the actual announcement of the product is still listed as “TBD”. Also, by the looks of it, the GPU’s model number, PG141-SKU343, denotes that this card will be using the AD104-250-A1, which is identical to the PG141-SKU344 GPU used in the assembly of what is believed to be the Founders Edition of it.

— kopite7kimi (@kopite7kimi) February 7, 2023 On that note, if that last bit is to be believed, then we can expect to see NVIDIA return to form with an RTX 4070 Founders Edition (FE), given that the brand skipped a series with the Ti version of the GPU. Whether or not it will be almost as big as the current FE cooler design is still up in the eye and frankly, anybody’s guess. Beyond that, there isn’t any further detail about the RTX 4070. However, based on earlier rumours, the new mid-range GPU is expected to feature 5888 CUDA Cores, 12GB of either GDDR6X or GDDR6 graphics memory – that last detail is still in limbo as well, as the rumours on the subject are still divided. Since this is technically a watered down version of the more powerful Ti version, the card is also expected to operate with a lower TDP of 200W. [Image: NVIDIA]On a side note, it is also important that the embargo information seen here is subject to any changes between now and the RTX 4070’s April on-shelf availability date. For all we know, NVIDIA could simply just “Unlaunch” the card again, but that’s unlikely to happen again. (Source: Videocardz)
