Unlike the leak, the stems of the Nothing Ear (stick) earbuds are much thinner and do not feature vertical dots. Meanwhile, another angle of the device confirms that it will lack rubber tips, suggesting that its earpieces are designed to rest on your ears, much like the standard variants of Apple’s AirPods. Whether this design approach is actually comfortable remains to be seen, though Nothing claims that it has tested the device on over 100 pairs of ears “for enhanced comfort.” Additionally, the company notes that the new buds are lightweight, coming in at just 4.4 g.

On that note, Nothing will only reveal the full specifications of its upcoming audio device for the launch, so we’ll only find out regarding its hardware, features, battery life, and pricing by then. Aside from the buds, also revealed is its accompanying charging case. As we’ve covered prior to this, it is shown to sport a cylindrical shape along with the company’s signature transparent design element. One of the photos shared by the company shows the case featuring an opening on one side of its shell, suggesting that users may need to align the inner charging compartment with it in order to store or free the earbuds. Other than that, it is speculated that a USB-C port is situated on the right hand side of the case. Nothing is set to launch the all-new Ear (stick) next week on 26 October at 10 pm local time. The event will be live streamed via the company’s website and official YouTube channel. (Source: Nothing [1] [2])
