Images of iPhone 15 Pro accessories were posted on the Chinese social media website Weibo showing minute changes like repositioned volume buttons and power buttons. As compared to iPhone 14 Pro, the next pro iPhone will have its power and volume button placed slightly lower than the regular position. Also, it is known by now that the upcoming iPhones will abandon the Lightning port to accommodate USB-C port as Apple has to abide by the new EU laws. The leaked case images also show a cutout for a USB-C port instead of a Lightning port. However, one of the most noticeable changes is the new mute button which will replace the mute switch that we have seen in iPhones for a very long time. The mute button will be placed above volume rockers. From the leaked case images, it seems that the mute button occupies a smaller space as compared to the mute switch. The mute button in iPhone 15 series is expected to perform multiple functions instead of simply muting the iPhone. Consider it as an action button on Apple Watch Ultra. It is likely that users will be able to run Shortcuts using the mute button. Another leaked case image shared on Twitter by a user going by the username @MajinBuOfficial shows that iPhone 15 Pro will come with a larger camera setup and a bigger microphone. However, Apple is not expected to bring solid state buttons this year. As per reliable analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, Apple has decided to postpone solid state buttons for iPhone 15 series due to unresolved technical issues before mass production. In addition to subtle design changes, iPhone 15 series is expected to arrive with a titanium chassis, slimmer bezels, Dynamic Island across all models, and a slightly curved design. Apple will likely launch four iPhones this year – iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Plus, iPhone 15 Pro, and iPhone 15 Pro Max.
