The pass is on offer until 9 April 2023 for only RM9 with a four-day validity period for both postpaid and prepaid customers of Celcom and Digi. What’s more, the 44GB data quota can be used with hotspot enabled, meaning that you can utilise it with other devices during that period. As for the “unlimited” quota for YouTube and TikTok, that unfortunately can’t be used with your hotspot. The usage for these apps is also limited to a speed of only 3Mbps and while the pass is activated, the 44GB and unlimited quotas will be utilised first before using your existing internet plan. Additionally, it is subject to both brands’ Fair Usage Policy (FUP) set at 999GB for Celcom while Digi’s is capped at 300GB for prepaid users and the respective FUP cap for users of postpaid plans. If the FUP quota is utilised, you will be throttled to a speed of 64Kbps. As for how to actually purchase this pass, both prepaid and postpaid Celcom can buy it as an add-on on the Celcom Life app, while prepaid users also have the option to acquire it through its internet reload site. Digi customers can get it on either the MyDigi app or the company’s online store. On a related note, CelcomDigi recently announced a new Xpax postpaid plan that offers unlimited 10Mbps data with unlimited calls, priced at RM65 per month for a limited time. The telcos are also offering a 444GB sahur pass for RM7, which can be used for seven days from 3 AM to 7 AM. (Source: Celcom, Digi)
